About SLIRB
SLIRB athletes live in the historic area along the New York – Vermont border, generally somewhere in the vicinity of Bennington, Vermont and Cambridge, New York. All are superb physical specimens with equally impressive intellects, attributes needed to conquer the hilly serpentine roads that are our home bowling grounds. Our devotion to the sport is matched only by our passion for pre-bowl doughnuts. We bowl every Sunday morning, weather (and spouse) permitting, and drink beer (spouse permitting) every night. Because competition in our area is quite limited, we don’t really know how good we are, but we are pretty sure we could compete with the best in the world (at least in doughnut-eating events).
